Footloose

Ladies and gentlemen! We present to you.... FOOTLOOSE! Footloose are one of the souths wests premier function rock bands which consist of 4 very experienced musicians. The band play a variety of styles of music for your enjoyment and are able to adapt and present a quality show whatever the venue or situation. Whether it be a wedding in a marquee,a theatre,festival local pub or corporate event be assured that footloose are the band for your event! The band comes with many years of live experience(you could say we have a PHD in stagecraft!) we are available to travel and love to play new venues,wherever they may be! This is what we do and we love doing it! The band consists of kris (lead vocals), Joe Dostal (lead guitar), Mattie James (bass guitar and backing vocals) and George Clarke (drums). Kris is a great frontman that not only has an amazing voice but interacts with the crowd anyway he can and can sometimes be seen out front with the crowd dancing and getting everybody involved in the sing along classics! kris has performed in a number of bands along the way mostly on lead vocals but occasionly can be seen behind the drum kit! At 46 years old he is the oldest member of the band but by no way the most mature! Having grown up in the east of england he moved down to the west country some 9 years ago and has been heavily involved in the live music scene since. Joe Dostal is the lead guitarist and a very very experienced member of the band. Joe has been playing guitar since a very early age, performing in a number of bands of all different genres. Joe also performs as a solo act for weddings and special events. He has a great playing style and loves to rock out! Joe also doesn’t originate from the west country but is well and truly settled here now with a young family. Mattie james is the 3rd member of the band and is bass guitar and backing vocals. Mattie is a very talented musician that plays a number of instruments to include bass guitar, lead guitar, piano/keys..... the list goes on! He is well suited to bass guitar in Footloose down to his unique playing style. Along with Joe, Mattie also plays in other acts as a duo or jazz band. Last but by no means least is George Clarke, the baby of the group at just 20 years old. George plays the drums in footloose and his solid playing style makes him the perfect fit. He has been playing the drums from a very early age and even at the tender age of 20 has already played in some great bands to include a motorhead tribute band. George originates from the west country and is also a keen athlete. Be sure to look out for his unique drum solos. All 4 guys in the band are also great mates which makes such a difference on stage and you can see and feel the chemistry on stage.
