Floyd Parris is Afro-Caribbean from Leeds West Yorkshire now living in Hertfordshire. He studied guitar at Leeds College of Music He plays melodic smooth jazz guitar. He started playing in his local church he was inspired by George Benson at the age of 12. He would say that he has essences of Wes Montgomery and George Benson in his playing style. Performances of note are jazz festivals in Ireland and Holland Cork jazz festival and Breda festival other performances at London O2 arena Greenwich for giants of lovers rock. Floyd loves his interment solo smooth jazz session playing popular RnB Luther EWF and Bob Marley and other artist in jazz soul and pop

I saw him playing at a wedding 2018 knowing my my wedding was coming up, my wife to be loved the guitar especially George Benson. This guy played breezin and feel like making love it was as if it George himself was playing. So I got his card and he delivered on the day it made wife’s day

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide iPad to keep music flowing during breaks. This will be played through the PA at no extra cost song list of preference will incorporated

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes to a hour

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Request for songs to be played is welcomed

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

All equipment is supplied only require access to electricity

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Any special request for particular tracks needs to be shared in time to be learnt, giving ample time to prepare the music
