Florence Noon is a London-based jazz and soul singer bringing warmth, style and a relaxed atmosphere to weddings, parties and special events. Accompanied by an experienced pianist, she performs a soulful blend of timeless jazz standards, bossa nova, classic favourites and elegant reworkings of modern songs. Taking inspiration from artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Sade and Olivia Dean, Florence can provide sophisticated background music for a drinks reception or dinner, as well as an engaging live set for guests to enjoy. Florence has performed at renowned London venues including The Pheasantry, The Troubadour, PizzaExpress Live, The Ned and the National Theatre. Her warm vocals and laid-back style create a memorable atmosphere without overwhelming the occasion. Special song requests can also be arranged to add a personal touch to your event.

Do you have different line-up options?

Florence can be booked as an intimate duo with vocals and piano, or as a four-piece jazz band featuring vocals, piano, bass and drums. The duo is ideal for ceremonies, drinks receptions and dinners, while the full band creates a richer, more energetic sound for parties and larger events.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Small timing changes can usually be accommodated—just let me know as soon as possible. Significant changes that require extra waiting or performance time may involve an additional fee, subject to availability.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can provide a suitable background playlist through the PA system between sets. You’re also welcome to share your own playlist in advance. Please note that this is an unmanned playlist service rather than a full DJ service.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually require around 30 minutes to set up and soundcheck for the duo, or up to one hour for the full band. We’ll always aim to set up as quickly and discreetly as possible.

Can you roam around while you perform?

As this is a piano-based act, we usually perform from one fixed area rather than roaming around the venue. I’ll still engage and interact with guests throughout the performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to choose your favourites from my set list, and you can also request a special song in advance for us to learn. I’ll arrange the final running order to ensure the music flows naturally throughout your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

PA equipment suitable for most small and medium-sized venues is included in my quote. Lighting is not included as standard, but this can be discussed if required. Larger venues or full-band bookings may require additional sound equipment, which will be agreed with you in advance.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! We’re very happy to learn song requests for your event—just send them over with plenty of notice so we have time to prepare them. We’ll always do our best to accommodate your choices. There is a fee of £30 for this service to accommodate rehearsal times.
