Flat Mates is London's freshest mixed-voice quartet, with a sizzling repertoire spanning jazz, barbershop, musical theatre, latin and swing. We'll treat you to our crisp award-winning sound, with tunes made famous by artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Hoagy Carmichael, Edith Piaf and Gene Kelly. Anni, Ali, Conrad and Kate have each spent a decade or more on London's pro singing circuit, from the combined worlds of competitive Barbershop, classical and jazz, giving Flat Mates a unique and unforgettable sound. Since establishing in late 2024, Flat Mates has won gold at Holland Harmony international barbershop competition, silver in the UK, and collaborated with YouTube royalty, Max Fosh.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change, just let us know as soon as you can and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

How much time do you need to set up?

If it's a surprise, we'll tune up sounding fantastic! If it's a longer booking though, 15-mins in the space beforehand would be handy to sound-check.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Of course! Though we'll need to stick together as a four while we do it so we can hear one another.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! We can also write and prepare a custom arrangement for you - just send us a message with plenty of notice, and we'll give you a quote (c. £150 depending on the length and complexity of your song).

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We typically sing a capella without amplification. If you need us to provide a PA system, that's included. For lighting, we would charge you the hire fee to cover our costs.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! If a song you'd like isn't on our song list, we might already know it. We will also write and prepare a custom arrangement for you - just send us a message with plenty of notice, and we'll give you a quote (c. £150 depending on the length and complexity of your song).
