Flaming Heather

Flaming Heather made our weddings evening reception so much fun. They called out all the steps for our guests and helped put us all at ease as we tried to remember dances we from our school days . They turned our evening into a night never to be forgotten. Lots of great tunes and laughter . Thanks for everything

We cannot recommend Flaming Heather highly enough on every aspect - in the lead up, really engaging and thoughtful (with guests across the spectrum from never done Scottish country dancing to those well versed) they tailored their sets to ensure all guests enjoyed, they even did an oasis song for the manchester contingent!! On the night they were brilliant all our guests thought it was the highlight of the evening, especially those who in the run up had said they didn’t think they’d be getting up! - seeing them dancing around the dance floor it was a joy to see and happy memories made. Thank you Flaming Heather x (Our guests are already saying can we do it again for our 1st anniversary!!)

They were ok. There are only 2 members of course so they are a good price. They will help you work out what is the best thing to do and what are the right dances. Ours wasn’t the greatest success but it also wasn’t terrible. I am not sure what went wrong exactly. I feel like the fiddle player just stopped playing at some point. Not sure if she was frustrated with the level of dancing going on. We paid for a couple of hours but I guess the set was more like about an hour in the end. That was long enough though. Felt like longer wouldn’t have been good.

Flaming Heather were very charming, easygoing, and a wonderful band for beginner ceilidh dancers. I absolutely recommend!!
