We are Fitzrovia Trio, a London-based ensemble weaving together the rich threads of jazz, classical, and Latin traditions. Featuring the Croatian Guitar Player Mihael Majetic, the Norwegian Double Bass and Bass Guitar player Oda Steinkopf and the Brazilian Trumpet Player Izalni Nascimento Junior. Drawing on influences from each musician's background and lived experiences, we aim to bring to the stage performances that are refined, sophisticated, eclectic and deeply expressive.

Fitzrovia Trio played at our wedding evening celebration, held in a beautiful old church where they performed on the altar stage. From the beginning, communication was excellent. Junior was quick to respond to my questions, and the band’s professionalism made everything easy. They arrived early, set up smoothly, and were very accommodating with our special requests. The set they curated was absolutely perfect for the atmosphere we wanted. We loved the music which was a blend of Jazz Standards and Bossa Nova that created the ideal backdrop for the evening. I would highly recommend Fitzrovia Trio for any event. They brought elegance, warmth, and wonderful energy to our celebration.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are a diverse and eclectic group with professional and responsible musicians. Our service is of the highest standard.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Being an international group, our influences are very wide, ranging from classical music, Brazilian, Croatian and Norwegian folk music as well as jazz, blues and swing.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our core line-up is Trumpet, Double Bass and Guitar. However, if you need a different line-up do not hesitate to be in touch.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will do our best to accommodate our client's needs

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide iPod service in between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need in between 15 to 30 minutes to set up.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We will do our best to meet the client's needs

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Definitely

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We provide a PA system for small settings.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
