Based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, Firefly has been recognised both internationally and nationally with its prestigious wedding awards. Firefly is the winner of two recent awards: Best UK Wedding Band 2022 (and 2020) by the International Wedding Awards and the ‘highly commended’ Wedding Band of the Year (South West) 2019 award, awarded by the prestigious Events Entertainment Awards! The band has played at hundreds of weddings and parties, as well as at large corporate, military, media functions and charity events since 2010. Our venues have included football stadiums, castles, conference and hotel facilities, open air festivals and hundreds of weddings and private party locations. Firefly includes 1 or 2 female lead vocalists, 2 male lead vocalists (drummer & guitarist), 4-part harmonies, optional saxophone, keyboards, lead guitar, bass guitar, drums (+ option to add trumpet). Available as anything from a 5-piece to an 8-piece band, we can tailor our package to suit any budget or event. With up to 3 hours of live music featuring dancefloor filler hits + a ‘disco’ between live sets and lots of other goodies thrown in, we guarantee a packed dance floor and will take care of entertaining your guests so you can relax in the knowledge that everyone is having the time of their lives!

What a fantastic group, we are so happy that we booked them for my 60th. Right from the start Suzy kept in touch understood what we were looking for and carried this through to the night. Our guests absolutely loved them (as did I) Looking forward to having another event so we can book them again.

Absolutely fantastic. Suzy communicated promptly and was really helpful. The band were accommodating and flexible in setting the timings. On the night they got the crowd going from the start and the dance floor was full to the last minute. A fabulous mix of music and loads of stage presence. They were really part of the event and all our guests commented about the warmth of the show. We can't thank Firefly enough.

Firefly played at our Rally, we had 260 people there, Firefly were fantastic and kept the dance floor full all night. I would definitely recommend them, and would book them again. Xxx

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have fully rehearsed & very experienced 'deputy' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Ooh, yes! In addition to the 2 female lead singers & 2 male lead singers (double up as drummer & guitarist), 4-part harmonies, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums & optional saxophone, we can also provide trumpet, trombone and / or percussion.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem at all! We're very flexible and will work around your timings. Your event is 100% about you and not us and it's imperative that you get exactly what you want, to suit you!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we provide DJ-mixed playlists between live music sets + dance floor lights inc gobos and lasers, free of charge. So it's like a disco, without a manned DJ talking over the music. We can provide you with a manned DJ service for an extra charge if you'd like this.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

100% fully PAT tested! We also have full Public Liability insurance + risk assessments

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we're very happy to learn a song of your choice, free of charge.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We were chosen from hundreds of bands to headline at the Frocester Festival on 25.8.19 and the festival sold-out! We played to thousands.
