Fintan Crilly

My name is Fintan Crilly, I am a 22 year old male artist from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I have been a singer all my life and have developed my skills as an artist the last couple of years to where I feel ready to start performing and building my experience and sharing them with yours. How I became a musician started at a very young age. I have always been passionate about music and in particular, singing. It all started with being involved with the schola cantorum choir based in St Peter’s cathedral, Belfast. In my school years, I continued my study of music and performing arts at A level. Some of my musical highlights would include, harmony north, a collaborative choir with schools in North Belfast where I got the chance to perform at Washington DC Irish music festival. Over the last few years, leaving school I have decided to put the hours in my spare time to develop my singing skills further, as well as finding out what style works best for me. While my experience singing solo is limited as most of my experiences have been in a choir or a group of people. I’ve always felt I can connect to the songs more when I’m singing as a solo artist and singing on such big stages, I am more than comfortable to perform in front of people and large crowds. A gap that I can be honest about is my ability to play acoustic guitar at the moment. Mainly being a part of a choir or group and my voice being my strongest asset for musical exams etc. My guitar and piano skills are still a work in progress. However, I am currently taking lessons and the wide range of backing tracks available online, you can be sure that you are still getting a real artist. The genres of music that I feel suit my voice and I can connect with the most is soulful, R&B style music. However, I am continuing learning to add new styles and genres to my voice. Musicians like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson or basically anything from the 60s 70s and 80s! Would be my favourite type of genre to sing. As well some more modern artists like Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran. Although on my profile my resume may seem quite small right now. I am still beginning my journey to become an established solo artist. My main aim is to create and collaborate my voice and performing presence to your special occasion so that you will never forget. I would be most grateful to be considered for your event.
