Fintan Crilly

My name is Fintan Crilly, I am a 22 year old male artist from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I have been a singer all my life and have developed my skills as an artist the last couple of years to where I feel ready to start performing and building my experience and sharing them with yours. How I became a musician started at a very young age. I have always been passionate about music and in particular, singing. It all started with being involved with the schola cantorum choir based in St Peter’s cathedral, Belfast. In my school years, I continued my study of music and performing arts at A level. Some of my musical highlights would include, harmony north, a collaborative choir with schools in North Belfast where I got the chance to perform at Washington DC Irish music festival. Over the last few years, leaving school I have decided to put the hours in my spare time to develop my singing skills further, as well as finding out what style works best for me. This year I have started performing at local open mic nights, which has allowed me to explore what songs suit my style best and gain valuable experience on stage. I can honestly say that from performing at these open mics, I never feel more alive than when I’m on stage and I know that will only translate to cater for your event and make memories that will last! A gap that I can be honest about is my ability to play acoustic guitar at the moment. Mainly being a part of a choir or group and my voice being my strongest asset for musical exams etc. My guitar and piano skills are still a work in progress. However, I am currently taking lessons and the wide range of backing tracks available online, you can be sure that you are still getting a real artist. The genres of music that I feel suit my voice and I can connect with the most is soulful, R&B style music, as well as 80s/90. Some of the songs that I have performed recently performed solo include Valerie by Amy Whinehouse, Just the Two Of Us by Bill Withers/Grover Washington. However, I am continuing learning to add new styles and genres to my voice as I gain more experience. Although on my profile my resume may seem quite small right now. I am still beginning my journey to become an established solo artist. My main aim is to create and collaborate my voice and performing presence to your special occasion so that you will never forget.
