Fiesta Resistance is a professional seven-piece Salsa band, lighting up the dance floor with a mix of original arrangements, salsa classics, and Latin-infused covers of English pop hits. The band was formed in 2010 by Nick the drummer who had studied music in Cuba as part of his degree course. I also studied music in Cuba and spent a few years teaching Salsa dancing before joining the band in 2020 - I play bass and keyboards. The others in the band are Lorena on vocals (she is from USA but her family is from Puerto Rico), Gareth (trumpet) and Ed (trumpet), Pedro (keys) and Noel (congas).

Do you have different line-up options?

We have a set line-up which is as follows: Vocals, 2 Trumpets, Keys, Bass Guitar, Congas and Drums.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can provide this for a £100 fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.
