Songs from artists including Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars and Marvin Gaye – to name a few! Our funk-grooving rhythm section coupled with fiesty horns and killer vocals create a formula guaranteed to give everyone a good time. Formed in 2018, Felonious Funk is made up of talented, professional musicians who originally met at the University of Bristol and have since become well-established members of the music scene in Bristol and beyond. We love playing together and reckon we’re some of the tightest in the business. But don’t take our word for it – have a listen for yourselves. Whether it’s a wedding, a party or a corporate event – whatever the occasion we’d love to play for you. We tend to perform in Bristol and the surrounding area but are willing to travel nationwide. What do your clients love most about your performances?

We've been told that our energy and enthusiasm is infectious and really creates a good mood at Weddings.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line up is always a seven piece made up of Vocals, Keys, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Sax and Trumpet. Unlike other bands we do not charge extra for horns as we feel they are a vital part of the band and add to the listening experience of a live band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. We have a playlist between sets to keep the vibe going. If you would like to hear specific songs or your own playlist, please let us know. For an additional charge, we can provide an outstanding DJ to perform until the venue closes. Alternatively, if you wish to book a DJ yourselves, they are welcome to use our PA for an additional charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course you can! We're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. We also take requests.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA is included in the quote we give you

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you provided you let us know with plenty of time before the date of the event.
