Niamh Feeney is a vocalist from the West of Ireland who studied music at the University of Manchester. She has years of performance experience in multiple genres including performing jazz & neo-soul tracks at iconic venues Band on the Wall & Matt & Phreds, performing internationally with her indie-folk band The Deep Blue & her 8-part award-winning vocal ensemble The Apex Singers. She is available for all kinds of occasions and will work with you to tailor the music to your event. Niamh cover a huge range of repertoire, from traditional jazz of Gershwin and Cole Porter, to pop, folk, soul and R&B by the likes of Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse, and much more besides. She is more than happy to take on requests.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Unfortunately I don't provide an iPod/DJ service before/after my sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 hour before the performance if I am setting up my own PA.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set list is crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, I'm more than happy to take requests and chat through the setlist to make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes absolutely! I bring my own instrument and can bring my own PA if needed

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I work with each client to make sure that the music is perfect for their special event, tailoring the set lists to their tastes and taking requests of their favourite songs. I have honed my performance style through many years of experience performing in a variety of different styles and put a huge amount of energy into my performances.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at a variety of venues all over the UK and Ireland, notably singing solo in Ireland's National Concert Hall in October 2014. I have performed in Manchester's Midland Hotel, Radisson Blu Hotel & Principal Hotel along with iconic Manchester venues Victoria Baths & Manchester Cathedral.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have been most influenced by the beautiful music of Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald along with more contemporary artists such as The National, Lianne La Havas & Fleetwood Mac.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The most high profile gig I've ever performed was a gig I sang at in Victoria Baths for a ceremony organised by the University of Manchester.
