About Faz

Versatile multi-genre DJ for festivals, club nights, weddings & parties. Bringing unmatched energy and unforgettable vibes to every event!
DJ
London

I am a 26-year-old DJ who learned my craft at Leeds College of Music, but I am now based in South London. I got into Djing because I have loved writing and playing music all my life, and I have a massive passion for building up an eclectic and extensive music library. I therefore self-taught myself to mix and weave my way through various genres, hence my diversity as a DJ. I have so much fun whenever I DJ, and will always jump at any opportunity to play considering I feel that I can do the set justice and it fits my style. I have had loads of fun playing various festivals and club nights in the past, with a highlight being a closing set at Wibbly Woods festival and a headline set at Funk me Harder at Hyde Park Book Club. I have also played many weddings and birthday parties, where I go down a slightly more classic route of noughties & old school disco and have never failed to fill the dancefloor. These are really fun evenings as they are always completely different and each event has a uniqueness to it. I do not take requests on the night, but would be happy to include some songs you want to hear throughout the night proior to the event (for weddings and birthdays), and I will work them into the set. One thing that makes me stand out as a DJ is that I never pre-empt what I am going to play on an evening, or never make a playlist just for one night. I pick and choose songs as I go and read a room/dancefloor very well. This leads to some interesting blends and surprises throughout that night! If my style sounds like the perfect fit for your event, I’d love to hear from you!

We booked Faz to DJ at our wedding and our guests haven't stopped raving about how amazing the music was! He played a great mix of classics and dance music meaning that all ages of the party were happy and the dance floor was always full. We all had such a fun night and we couldn't recommend him highly enough!

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The way that I read the room/dancefloor. It is all about being able to gauge what people are enjoying and go with it. I have always been especially good at reading a room and changing it up when needed! They also love my floor filler singalongs weaved in too!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at many venues over the years. In Leeds I have performed at - Beaverworks, Canal Mills, Old red bus station, Hifi, Hyde Park Book Club I have then also played at Wibbly Woods Festival and MAP festival. I then also have played multiple house parties (60+) over the years and also many wedding which I really enjoy

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have always been influenced by old-school disco and funk, this is where I really enjoy finding my music and finding influence. I also love delving into old school garage and jungle too

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Wibbly Woods Festival (2000 people)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I can be flexible as long as I am told far enough in advance, if they change slightly in the run-up it doesn't matter! If times change on the day it may be a little bit too late for instance.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, this can be provided for an extra £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

I normally need about 30 minutes to set up the decks into the PA system and then we should be good to go!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I am definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I bring the decks and the music along with me, but I recommend hiring speakers elsewhere. We can discuss this in the lead-up to the event and what speakers are compatible etc.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I can take requests a up to few weeks before the event and then will add to my playlists.
