About Farnborough Symphony Orchestra

We are one of the foremost non-professional orchestras in the south of England. We have had a commitment to live performance of music in the North East Hampshire region since our formation in 1922 as the Royal Aircraft Establishment Orchestral Society. We now performs four concerts every season, regularly attracting high-quality national and international soloists, and we are the holder of the 2011 Pat Devereux award for contributions to the Performing Arts in the Borough of Rushmoor. We welcome interest from players in all areas. Current vacancies are listed on our website and we ask interested players to apply through the website and take part in a friendly audition process.
