Classically trained, I diversified on violin, viola into jazz and improvisation, and sing, professionally. Jazz, Hot Club jazz, Improvisation with loops and pedals, Classical and Pop. I've worked throughout the UK in jazz/improvisation. I can play solo violin/viola, or in a duo/trio/band etc. I love to sing sacred music, like Hildegard von Bingen, and I sing cantor (the Psalms) in churches. Ideal for wedding ceremonies. I can even accompany myself with a sensitive shruti box drone. I have a Pgdip in Jazz Performance, 7 jazz albums to my name and one folk album. My albums and performances have received many excellent reviews, and airplay throughout the world. I improvise and create with loops and pedals so can bring something original and daring to your event, or I can perform classical solo vocal/violin in a wedding ceremony, or engage my guitar friend to come and play Arabic tunes on oud with me, or Hot Club swing Jazz...and add a drum or bass or both! I sing Hot Club songs as well as play on violin if you fancy a vocalist too! I've dedicated my life to learning, exploring and playing music and will aim to bring my skills to your event with professionalism, respect and joy.
