Soprano Ewa Majcherczyk, awarded prestigious The Kiepura Prize for Best Polish Female Singer (2018), graduated from Music Academy in Katowice, continued education in Laboratorio Toscano della Lirica - Opera Studio (2009-2011) Since her Polish debut as Adina in “L’elisir d’amore” Wrocław Opera (2009), and international debut as Cunegunde in “Candide” (2010) in Teatro del Giglio, Teatro Verdi in Pisa, Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna, Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, Ewa becomes one of leading polish sopranos appreciated by public and critics, creating roles like Lucia di Lammermoor, Violetta Valery “La Traviata”, Musetta “La Boheme”, Rosina “Il Barbiere di Siviglia”, Gilda in “Rigoletto”, Micaela “Carmen”. In 2016 Ewa Majcherczyk debuted in National Opera in Warsaw as First Lady in "Magic Flute" in Barrie’s Kosky production. Miss Majcherczyk is known also for her interpretations of contemporary and opera rara like "Anne Frank" by G. Frid on „Sinfonietta Cracovia” festival (2017), and „The Man who mistook his wife for a head” by M. Nyman as well as roles from romantic and classic repertoire like Hanna in Pountney’s production of "Haunted Manor" by S. Moniuszko in NOH in Warsaw, Juliette in „Roméo et Juliette” by Gounod, and Sandrina in „La Finta Giardiniera” by Mozart. In 2015 She debuted on phonographic market with recording of songs by Francesco Bottigliero and in 2019 with three Masses by S. Moniuszko, first time recorded in history with Orchestra of Polish Radio in Warsaw under the baton of Michał Klauza. On the concert and recital stage, she has performed in Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Czech, Denmark, Spain, Lithuania and Slovakia and the most important concert halls in Poland.
