Evi Wang

Swedish Pianist Evi Wang is currently based in London. Working in a range of music including solo recitals, chamber music, orchestral piano, repetiteur, collaborative playing as well as pedagogical outreach, she is quickly establishing herself as one of the most versatile pianist of her generation. Evi completed her Master of Music in Performance in 2023 at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she was awarded a Distinction as well as several prizes within collaborative piano. With her unique talents in contemporary music and chamber music, Evi has made appearances at the Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Stoller Hall, Bridgewater Hall and the Elgar Hall, and has collaborated with London Philharmonic Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Psappha Ensemble, The Hallé, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. Evi has also worked with many contemporary composers including Hilda Paredes, Tania Leon, Graham Fitkin, Anna Thorvaldsdottir and Adam Gorb. This season, Evi has been awarded prestigious fellowships with the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and the London Philharmonic Orchestra to continue to build her career as one of the country’s leading young pianists. Evi is grateful to have received support from the Ingar Doubloug Stiftelse in Norway, John Andersson i Anderslöv in Sweden, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Alfred and Therese Kitchen Scholarship in the UK.
