Having played piano since the age of 5, Eve is now studying grade 7 piano, and A-Level music. Eve has over three years experience of teaching piano around Liverpool. Between 2012 and 2016, Eve was a member of the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir and performed at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall at the BBC Proms, and has collaborated with artists such as Michael Nyman and James MacMillan. Eve also recently achieved distinction at grade 7 singing for ABRSM. She now sings for her school choir, which has performed on numerous tours including Barcelona and Prague, and currently holds a choral scholarship for the St John;'s Voices at Cambridge University. In 2015, Eve participated in a young composer's course in Birmingham Conservatoire, and furthered this at a short course in composition for the BBC Inspire programme for International Women's Day broadcast on BBC Radio 3. She has also composed the soundtrack for various short films and trailers. A member and occasional co-leader of Liverpool-based Beatlife, Eve has led and played with various samba bands at various events, such as Manchester Pride, Brazilica Festival, the re-opening of the Edinburgh Museum and the Oslo Mela. Since 2014, Eve has collaborated with Manchester-based Global Grooves carnival arts organisation, having completed their Future Leaders course and gained a Silver Arts Award.

Miss Eve Machin is an outstanding young pianist who will enhance anyones special day. Her repertoire ranges from Classical to Pop, from Beethoven to the Beatles; all played with emotion and grace. Eve is extremely talented and I would have no hesitation in recommending her for any occassion. Eve would endeavour to accommodate all of the special requests, finding her own special way of blending the songs seamlessly together. Easy to work with too, Eve carries herself in an extremely professional and friendly manner. Not only a brilliant musician, Eve dresses and looks the part too, and always performs with a smile! I am getting married this summer and if our venue housed a piano, Eve would be first on the list.

Eve is an outstanding musician and a highly talented pianist. She is adept in a vast variety of music, from baroque, classical, romantic, jazz, pop and other modern styles, and plays all of these with musicality and maturity beyond her years. She has also sang with the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir on several occasions and is very much used to the pressures and demands of performaning to large, musically intelligent and sometimes demanding audiences. Eve also has a very strong musical ear and regularly teaches herself pieces based on this ability. All of these qualities would make her an excellent acquisition as a pianist for weddings and other important local functions. In addition to her vast musical strengths and experience, she is also an extremely hardworking young lady and would treat any performance with the utmost level of professionalism.
