Whether it be background music or front and centre our Jazz band will make any event more of a classy affair with our ambiance and presence.

We are three conservatoire trained jazz musicians with a passion for performing live music. We each bring a wide range of experience, from intimate jazz gigs at renowned jazz clubs such as Ronnie Scotts, to corporate events and weddings, to Glastonbury festival we have done it all! Led by James Romaine on saxophone, James has worked with National Youth Jazz Orchestra (alumni include Amy Winehouse) and has performed notable venues like Ronnie Scotts Luke D’Aulerio on drums loves playing a wide range of music and is involved lots of Rock and Pop projects. Taking him to Glastonbury Festival in 2024 Bassist Shivraj Singh has a wide variety of musical influences from traditional jazz to soul and hip hop. Has several original project pushing the boundaries of music. Based in the Midlands, we’re the perfect location to reach any corner of the UK. We love to make each event bespoke to you and we are happy to accommodate special requests. Our sets can range from short 30 min halves to evening long performances If you’re a jazz lover looking to hear niche deep cuts or just love the classics, we’re more than happy to chat to you about the set list, making it bespoke to you and your needs. We are also more than happy to accommodate special requests to ensure your night is unforgettable.

I invited Equinox Trio to play at Hockley Social Club on several Sundays throughout the last year or so and they have been great, really friendly and good to work with, they bring a lovely vibe and musically they are perfect for a chilled jazz event

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We play music mainly instrumentally but we can organise a singer for the concert if that is what the client needs!

Do you have different line-up options?

We go up to 4 musicians and you can also add a singer for a set fee to the group!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

As long as the change of timing is done 24 hrs before the concert takes place we can accommodate this change within reason!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We do not offer this

How much time do you need to set up?

We can set up within an 30 minutes to an hr maximum depending on the size of the group. Our standard line which is 3 can set up in 20 minutes!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

From the song list you can craft the songs you want to make the perfect set list that fits your event!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes all included including travel

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can! We need 48 hrs notice and it does incur an extra charge of £30.
