Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
The relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere we provide is often a high point for clients. Especially when accompanied by a serene or spectacular location. Our DJ Sax performances are contrastingly known for being high energy and exciting.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Venues such as The Glasshouse International Concert Hall, Hyde Park Book Club, Belgrave Music Hall and Stage and Radio as well as smaller pubs, bars and restaurants.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Our performances are of course primarily influenced by the long standing jazz tradition and history established in America in the late 19th and early 20th century.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We will try to accommodate these changes. If the agreed package is unchanged and remains outside our "unsociable hours" clause there will be no additional cost.
In the event one or more musicians cannot attend the new time, every effort will be made to find a replacement or offer an alternative. Where this is not possible a full refund will be issued.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
A DJ service can be provided at an additional cost. If your package does not already include a DJ Sax performance this cost will be significant due to the additional equipment and performers required but we will do our best to cater to all requests.
We do not provide a PA and therefore cannot provide an iPod service without significant extra costs.
How much time do you need to set up?
We aim to arrive 1 hour before our set time and set up takes around 30 minutes
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Yes! you can pick any songs you wish from the setlist, and we additionally offer a service for all bookings over an hour to request 3 new songs at no extra cost.
While we do give our customers the final say we find our experience in curating set-lists is guaranteed to provide a great atmosphere for your event every time.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Almost! We provide all equipment for Quintet and Quartet bookings. HOWEVER for Solo Sax and DJ Sax bookings PA Hire will be necessary at an additional cost. Tyis can be discussed further during our in person or on line consultation about your event.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes. We will learn any 3 new songs for you for any booking over an hour at no extra cost.
In some cases complex songs or performances will require rehearsal in which case we charge an additional £50 for the band or £20 for Solo Saxophone. These cases are rare. These rates also apply to any additional songs on top of the 3 free requests.
