About Emma

Stripped back, emotive performances to move and inspire your guests.
Singer
Norwich
Public liability insurance of £10 million

Hailing from the west of Ireland, Emma is a performer with over 10 years of experience in popular and classical choral styles. Emma's clear, heartfelt vocal is much in demand at weddings and family occasions. Prior to moving to the UK, Emma was the Wedding co-ordinator for Discovery Gospel Choir, performing alongside a small group of singers all over Ireland at different events from the Guinness Storehouse, to small countryside chapels. She toured internationally as a member of the Irish Youth Chamber Choir (frequently performing as a soloist), and has also toured internationally with her own original music. As well as the performance, your booking with Emma will include: - A consultation to decide and discuss music - Up to 8 songs/ musical interludes from her repertoire list for your event (but we can discuss if you require more) - Inclusion of sound equipment (Emma performs using a Roland Cube amplifier, which is battery powered) - Emma will learn a new song of your choosing for your event if it is not on the repertoire list (additional songs can be accommodated for an extra charge). When she is not singing, writing or performing, Emma is passionate about sharing her skill set with the next generation of performers as a singing teacher. She has an MA in Music from Trinity College Dublin, and is currently undertaking an MA in Professional Voice Practice with the Voice Study Centre (University of Wales Trinity St. David).

I recently hired Emma to do backing vocals on a band's album. I gave her the charts and rough mixes two weeks before the recording date. She arrived at the studio on the day well prepared, resulting in a very productive seesion with great results. Paul Finlay - Producer "Lucky Charms & Firearms" DF & The Alibis

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This may affect the booking, but please do just get in touch with me to let me know as soon as possible. If I can accommodate your change, then I will.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! Please let me know you would like this so I can ensure I have the correct equipment with me on the day.

How much time do you need to set up?

I like to arrive to your event 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins before the performance to set up, sound check, and liaise with anyone else involved in the event.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes you can, and I offer you a free consultation as part of your booking to do just that.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. I bring my own amplifier, microphone, music stand and instruments.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I offer one new request that isn't on my songlist per booking. If you would like more, I am happy to do this but there will be an additional fee.
