Hello I'm Emma and I am a recent Graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music. I manage two wedding string quartets Amicus String Quartet and assis with Northern String Quartet. I am also the Act Owner for Earcandy Strings in Manchester and across the North West. I grew up in Buckie a small town in Morayshire in the North East of Scotland. I went to St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh. During my time in high school I was performed regularly in the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland and Great Britain, both performing annually at the BBC Proms. In 2011 I enrolled at the Royal Northern College of Music with the Leverhulme Scholarship and and entrance scholarship. During my time at college I performed in several RNCM chamber and Symphony orchestras and part of the Virr String Quartet. Highlights included playing at the Wigmore Hall, Performing with RNCM Session Orchestra, receiving Masterclasses from Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, Frans Helmesson, Petr Prause, Penderecki, Garth Knox, Nobuko Imai and Simon Rowland Jones.
