Emily Burley is a horn player who grew up in Kingston upon Thames on the outskirts of London. She started playing the horn at 13, and from the ages of 16-19 attended the Royal College of Music junior department where she studied under Sue Dent. Since 2014 Emily has been studying for a BMus at Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Jonathan Lipton. She has had the opportunity to play with a large variety of chamber groups, pit bands and orchestras both at Guildhall, in London, as well as playing in festivals and ensembles around the country. She is now in her third year at Guildhall and is enjoying her studies and expanding on these experiences and playing opportunities.
