Hello! Welcome to my page! I am a Trumpeter of 17 years, with doubling skills on Cornet and Flugelhorn as well. Playing in many bands and orchestras in a vast range of styles. Most of my work comes from Musical Theatre shows as well as Weddings and Funerals. Notable work I have done is perform for the Duke and Duchess of Richmond at Goodwood, as well as their big events such as Festival of Speed and Revival. I also play for Corporate events such as Rolls Royce’s Christmas party and military officer’s dinners for the RAF and Army. I was a part of the UK Premiere and UK premiere tour of A Christmas Carol the Concert, which was brought over by the writer, Bob Christianson’s New York Production company. I have also had the opportunity of performing to the Bishop of Chichester, Princess Anne, and Jenson Button. I have been lucky enough to also tour Europe playing at fantastic venues across the continent, as well as here in the UK, such as Symphony Hall, Cadogan Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall. Recently I have also done recording work at Abbey Road studios on several occasions and with an Orchestra in London organized by a UK composer to record his new works. My ability to know and play a large range of styles has helped me be reliable in whatever performance I am asked of myself. This can be for a function band or a Musical show to solo work like in Weddings and funerals as well Orchestral work. As a person I am an extremely reliable and organised individual, who always aims to produce the best quality performance capable of myself. I have a friendly and easy-going personality, which means people can get along and work with me very well, and likewise I can work easily with people as well. Any advice or criticism given to me, as well as any tasks asked of me, are always followed up with enthusiasm. Thanks for checking out my page! If you have any enquiries, please send a message and I will get back to you. Elliot

Elliot was very amenable when discussing the proposed event and its costs. On the day, he arrived in plenty of time to rehearse with our organist, the service went well, and we had many positive comments on his playing. We are looking forward to inviting him back again.

I booked Elliot to play the "Last Post/Reveille" at my Father-in-Law's funeral. I was very impressed with Elliot! We communicated well and he interpreted exactly what I wanted. He arrived early on the day, was smart and just "got on with it". Everyone commented on how lovely the trumpet tribute was, and afterwards, Elliot checked in with me to make sure everything was OK before he left. On a day like a funeral, you want everything to go well, and Elliot made me feel very confident that everything would - and it did! Highly recommend Elliot! Gina Russell (Chichester)

Elliot has played for me in various bands and orchestras for more than 12 years. He is completely reliable and a very competent musician. He is always well prepared for performances, even when playing 2 different instruments from different books! He plays sensitively and completely accurately. He is always top of my list when I'm putting a band together.

Elliot played for our 50th wedding anniversary and was ever so professional. He was so flexible to our requests and made our special day that bit better.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love my easy going personality and can do spirit when preparing for their events. My ability to adapt to situations or plans adds to the professional approach I bring when working. All this as well as the quality of the performance means my clients are happy with my service, with repeat bookings for events like theatre shows and orchestral concerts.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The main featured venues I have performed at are scattered around Europe. These venues include Brandenburg Cathedral, The National Czech museum of music, and L'église de la Madeleine in Paris. In the UK I have performed in Venues such as Symphony Hall, Birmingham, Cadogan Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, in London, and the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Throughout my career many influences come and go with the style of music I like to play and listen to changes. Leading influences include the likes of Richard Strauss, Frank Sinatra, and leading Trumpeters throughout time.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

In September 2021 I performed at the Goodwood Revival Ball. This Ball is a high end event with 2000 of the most well known names in motor sports and society coming together for a party. The likes of Jenson Button, Sir Chris Hoy, AJ and Curtis Pritchard, Jason Mamoa, Ollie Murs, And prince Michael of Kent to name some of this years attendees.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know and I should be able to adjust to this with ease.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I don't offer this option due to being a solo instrumentalist. The style and type of jobs I do mean that this is not a request I receive. I can certainly play to a backing track if requested.

How much time do you need to set up?

I intend to get to the venue at least 45 minutes prior to the time I am required to arrive by to set up, due to the easy set ups I have to do. If I am requested to arrive at a certain time that is also fine and I am more than able to accept your requests.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I aim to make my performances suitable for you and your event. This means I am more than up for your requests, whilst also being up for choosing and being in discussion with you over music to be played. On some occasions extra fees may be added for purchase of music if needed.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play. If its an instrument like the contrabassoon on the other hand I will contact you if you are able to acquire one, whilst looking around myself for borrowing one. This is due to the size of the instrument and their high purchase cost

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If you want specific pieces at your event I am more than happy and capable to learn these pieces at your request.
