About Ellen F

Professional event pianist with 12+ years of experience, trusted to create the perfect atmosphere for your event!
Pianist
Brighton and Hove

I’m a classically trained pianist with a passion for creating music that feels perfectly at home in any setting - from elegant weddings and private celebrations to luxury events, corporate occasions and intimate dinners. My musical journey began with a strong classical foundation and led me to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I developed not only my technique and musicianship, but also a deep appreciation for musical expression, detail and communication with an audience. Although my roots are firmly in classical music, I love the freedom of performing across different styles. My repertoire includes classical, pop, jazz, contemporary and cinematic music, allowing me to create anything from sophisticated background ambience to a more captivating live performance. I particularly enjoy taking familiar songs and giving them a more elegant, atmospheric piano interpretation - creating music that complements the occasion without ever overwhelming it. For me, performing is about much more than simply playing the right notes. It is about understanding the atmosphere, reading the room and making each performance feel personal. Whether guests are arriving for a wedding, enjoying dinner at a private event or celebrating a special occasion, I aim to make the music feel like a natural and memorable part of the experience. Over the years, I have performed for a wide range of audiences and events, including weddings, private functions, corporate events, concerts, hotels and cultural occasions. I have also worked as a piano teacher, accompanist and professional performer, experiences which have taught me to be adaptable, attentive and completely reliable in a professional environment. One of the things I value most about performing at events is the variety. Every audience, venue and occasion has its own character, and I enjoy creating a programme that reflects it. I am happy to work from a requested repertoire, learn specific songs in advance or suggest music based on the style and mood of the event. Clients often appreciate not only the music itself, but the professionalism behind it: punctuality, communication, preparation and the ability to perform confidently and discreetly when required. I take pride in arriving fully prepared and making the experience effortless for the organiser. Ultimately, I perform because music has the ability to transform a space. A beautiful melody at the right moment can make an entrance feel special, a wedding ceremony more emotional, or an evening feel absolutely unforgettable. My goal is simple: to bring beautifully performed live piano music, professionalism and a personal touch to every event I play.
