Elle Beale Classical Guitar

My first taste for music and the joy of performing came from learning Classical Guitar from the age of 6. The first piece I ever learned on the guitar was the bass part of Albatross by Fleetwood Mac (literally 2 notes!) but I was so pleased with myself that I requested to perform it for my entire year 2 class. The thrill of learning a skill as unique as classical guitar motivated me to keep at it all the way through to grade 8 (with distinction) and through my music courses for GCSE (A*) and A Level (A). Of course, my love for classical music lead to experimenting with different genres and styles and onto writing my own (non-classical) songs. However, my classical technique remains through all pieces I learn/write, which may go unnoticed by non-guitarists. Classical guitar is still such an important part of my musical journey and career and I now perform my classical repertoire at weddings, anniversaries, corporate events and in local bars and restaurants. Live music always adds something unique to your event, whether it be a wedding, anniversary or corporate function. I believe the classical guitar is perfect for background music, creating a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. I have a well-varied repertoire from 20th-century Latin pieces such as Sons de Carilhões by Pernambuco to pieces from the classical and romantic era such as Allegro (Sonata for guitar in C) by Anton Diabelli to popular songs like Dancing Queen by Abba that I've arranged for the guitar! I am very happy to adjust my repertoire to fit with the sound you are looking for for your event.
