We are a quartet of Masters graduates from London conservatoires and are vastly experienced in all sorts of musical settings. We've performed at Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London, amongst other places, and are equally adept at performing classical or pop music. Our members also have experience as baroque performers and we even have a member who sometimes performs grime music!

Thank you so much for your glorious playing yesterday at our Graduation Ceremony. The quartet was exquisite, it’s always a joy to hear the music from wherever we are in the building but yesterday was even more magical - people were arriving in the rain after very stressful journeys and they immediately started to feel relaxed when they walked in the door - that’s all down to you guys!

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Variety is key to what we do. We've had all sorts of requests from classical favourites such as Haydn and Beethoven to film (James Bond, Gladiator) and light music (Fleetwood Mac, Cole Porter etc.). We love taking requests during events and can thankfully fulfil composer/artist requests most of the time due to our substantial set list!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Merchant Taylors' Hall, St James' Church Piccadilly, York Racecourse, Claremont Project Islington, Heatherwick Studio, Port Lympne Safari Park etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

It is hard to pin down the exact artists, as there are so many who have influenced each of us, but we're big fans of the Danish String Quartet's Keel Road collection, which we've recently added to our set list.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We've had a few great gigs both as individuals and as a group! Our experiences include a wedding reception at Westminster Abbey, performing at the Braemir Summit in September 2024, a wedding at the Tower of London, and concerts around the UK and abroad.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! We mainly perform as a quartet, but can also cut down to a duo, trio, or even add a player to form a quintet. We are also happy to perform some pieces solo, so you may hear anywhere between 1 and 4 players performing at various points within a standard quartet engagement.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will try to be as flexible as we can to ensure that your event runs smoothly. If timings do change, do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate the changes: this is of course more manageable the further in advance of the event we are informed, but we will always do what we can to ensure a full group even if timings change late in the day.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up around half an hour to an hour before the event start time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes! If there are any particular pieces which take your fancy, we would be delighted to include them in our selection for your event. Equally, if there is anything you want which is not in our list, we will do our best to accommodate this request provided we have enough time to arrange this - and we're always looking to expand our setlist!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

We bring everything except a chair!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If you want something which is not in our setlist, we may be able to learn/arrange it regardless. Depending on how much work (eg. just rehearsing, making our own arrangement etc.) goes into allowing this to happen, there may be an additional charge added to our fee.
