Eleanor first picked up a Trumpet at the age of six and hasn’t looked back since. After starting lessons on the Trumpet, she also learnt Tenor Horn and has trained as a singer. She became a member of the Aylesbury Music Centre in 2006 for 7 years. Over this time she played with a number of different ensembles and was principal of the Brass Band, Wind Band and Orchestra. In 2012, Eleanor joined the Buckinghamshire County Youth Orchestra and accompanied them on their tour to the Czech Republic. During her younger years she also participated in tours around Central Europe including Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. Eleanor is a freelance musician who has performed across all aspects of the profession playing Jazz, Classical and even Bollywood music. She has performed with a variety of ensembles including London Euphonia, Lewisham Concert Band, Harmony Sinfonia and the Women of the World Orchestra and played repertoire such as Sibelius' Symphony No.2, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.6 and Holsts' The Planets Suite. Eleanor also enjoys musical theatre and has played for productions of Annie, Cabaret and Little Shop of Horrors. As well as being invited to perform in a masterclass with Phil Cobb (Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra), Eleanor has also worked with conductors such as Gordon Hunt and Gerry Cornelius and worked alongside professionals such as Paul Mayes, Tony Cross and Mike Lovatt. She has also been fortunate to play at venues across England including Cadogan Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. In 2013, Eleanor started studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Now entering her third year she is having regular tuition from Andy Hendrie and Bob Farley. Since starting, Eleanor works with a number of different ensembles on a regular basis. These include the Bellazona Brass Quintet, Stentato Brass Dectet and the Royal Greenwich Brass Band. She is also a member of the GMT Brass Ensemble and organizes her own Bollywood Group "Tikka Chance on Me".
