About Eleanor

Eleanor is a recent music graduate from the University of Bristol. She plays the saxophones (SATBa), piano, clarinet and sings Alto.

Eleanor recently graduated from the University of Bristol with a First-class degree in Music, and has been playing the saxophone for 12 years, achieving her diploma (DipABRSM) in July 2013. She played in several ensembles within the university, including lead alto saxophone in Symphonic Winds, and lead tenor saxophone in 'Hornstars', the university's auditioned big band. In March this year she won BUMS' Concerto Competition, leading her to perform Ibert's 'Concertino da Camera' in St George's concert hall. In 2011 her Grade 8 saxophone result was awarded the ABRSM Silver Award. She has also played piano for 14 years and achieved her second piano diploma (ALCM) in 2014. Eleanor was taught saxophone by Paul Sanders in 2008-2013, and by Lara James in 2014-2016.
