What do your clients love most about your performances?
People often say how relaxed & happy they feel listening to myself and my bands. They say we’re not stiff or stuffy! Plus they can tell we really love the genre and bring the joy of it to our performances.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?
My dad! He was a pro jazz pianist when I was young.. then also by Bill Evans, Theolonius Monk, Joao Gilberto, A C Jobim, Louis Armstrong, Ella’s Fitzgerald, Chet Baker, Oscar Peterson...
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Played last year at the Love Supreme festival in the grounds of Gyndbourne with my vocal harmony group Three Little Birds.
Played a solo slot at London’s Kings Place for a fundraising event for the Arts4Demenia charity.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I’m happy to be flexible and small changes to timings should be fine, just let me know as soon as you can. If the timings are very different then get in touch - I'll always try to make it work.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I am happy to play some iPod jazz recordings through my amp when I take breaks. Just let me know if you'd like this.
How much time do you need to set up?
We have a quick set up, usually only takes up about 15 minutes.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Yes please pick any favourite songs from my song list and I’ll include them in my sets. I always include popular ones such as Fly Me To The Moon, Putting On The Ritz, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps, The Girl From ipanema. Then I play it by ear on the day and choose tunes that seem appropriate in response to the individual setting of each event as it happens.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, we bring everything! I have a small set up, just one amp (I have battery options as well for outdoor settings) and my guitar.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
I can learn songs for an event yes! I am learning new songs all the time so do ask if there's one that's not in my list, I might already know it. If I don't know it and you'd like me to learn it, I can do that for an additional fee of £40 (just to cover the time it'll take me to learn it and get it performance ready...)
