Originally from Poland, began to play the piano at the age of eight with Prof. Natalia Latyshewa in SSM in Kolbudy. She continued her studies with Prof. Elena Aleksiejuk and then Prof. Malgorzata Stozynska in F.Chopin Music School in Gdansk. Currently she is in BMus programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland studying under Jonathan Plowright. Her the most important competition awards include 3rd prizes in: VII I.J.Paderewski Piano Competition in 2009 and International Bluthner Piano competition in Kaliningrad in 2010 and 1st prizes in: V Competition for Young Pianist in Rybnik, II Pomeranian Piano Competition in Szczecin and Bela Bartok International Piano Competition in Vienna in 2012. She was also a finalist in International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede - Netherlands and International M.Moszkowski “Per aspera ad astra” Piano Competition in Kielce. During 2006-2007 she collaborated with “Cappella Gedanensis” conducted by Prof. Alina Kowalska-Pinczak and gave many concerts in Radio Gdansk with this orchestra. Edyta took part in many workshops and in Gdansk, Warsaw, Poznan, Torun, Kielce, Krakow, Glasgow and Cremona (Italy) led by outstanding pianists: Aquiles Delle Vigne, Dina Joffe, Waldemar Wojtal, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron, Aleksiej Orłowiecki, Piotr Paleczny, Wojciech Switala. In 2005, 2009 and 2010 she received a scholarship for distinguished achievements from President of Gdansk City.
