With over 10 years working as a session pianist I have been lucky enough to perform with some amazing artists and tour across Europe with various bands. I have played across London in Jazz clubs including the Vortex, the 606 and Ronnie Scott's. though I was trained in classical and eventually Jazz I pride myself in being able to fit the style of my playing towards any event and request. I love to work with clients, whether they be artists or someone looking for entertainment, to cater the way I play to fit their specific needs and I take great satisfaction in working with someone and finding out exactly how I can fulfil their requirements of me. As well as my work as a jazz pianist I am a working session and touring musician. I have played at Mallorca Live festival, opening for Iggy Pop and Recorded in studios throughout England.

From rehearsal an hour before the gig to the actual performance Edward was patient, quick to adapt, and cleverly both lead and followed the spontaneity of the evening with great piano playing.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My professional attitude and my ability to change the style of performance to suit their needs.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Ronnie Scott's, Moth Club, Vortex Jazz bar, 606 club.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Pink Floyd, Rolling stones to name a few but I try to listen to everything!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed at Salisbury Cathedral many times but the most high profile would likely be Ronnie Scott's

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will do my best to be flexible and if the timings are on the same day it should not be a problem. The best course is to let me know as soon as you can and I will be as flexible as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes absolutely and we can discuss what is on the playlist.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually take about 30 minutes to set up myself. However, I will aim to arrive at least an hour before hand to discuss where you would like me to set up or any last minute changes.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Absolutely if the piano is tuned and works properly I am more than happy to do that.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely if there are any songs you particularly want to hear (or not!) I will happily chop and change the set to your liking.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

I am able to bring all my own equipment including instruments.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely the song list I have is just a sample of what I can play I am more than happy to create a completely custom set list for your event.
