About Edward

Wide range of acoustic songs to suit the occasion
Edward Tresloggett's profile picture
Guitarist
Plymouth

I have been playing music for over 25 years and I am an experienced and skilled singer/songwriter/musician. I have played in various bands over the years and also fronted my own band. I am influenced by singer-song writers such as Tim Buckley, Sting, Nick Drake, Paul Weller and John Martyn. I employ a wide range of styles and genres. I cover all kinds of artists from Muddy Waters to Daft Punk and everything in between. I released a highly acclaimed solo album called The Sea is Calling and I have supported bands such as The Levellers. I play/sing a mixture of covers and original material covering a diverse landscape of musical styles and genres. I always bring my own identity to the songs I cover and give them a unique soulful makeover. I play all over the Southwest and have been received with enthusiastic audiences. I have been reviewed and interviewed in various local magazines and newspapers and I am being play listed on BBC Radio Devon.

"Edwards powerful soulful voice and song choices perfectly matches with the youthful mood of my Bar and Bistro in Torquay in which he has become a regular musician playing to diners and drinkers. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a similar business or event trying to create a good atmosphere"

''We first came across Ed on the Lemonrock gig guide while searching for someone to play at our wedding in Cornwall, Sept 2018. Ed seemed to fit the bill so we travelled down from Worcestershire to see him play live at the Union in St Ives. From the first track we knew this was exactly the guy we were looking for, such a great voice and with a real unique slant on some classic covers, plus his own material too coupled with some fabulous acoustic guitar playing. Perfect we thought and booked him for the date on the spot. There onwards communications with Ed were superb which was of great comfort when you are trying to arrange a wedding. The day itself was perfect which Ed played a major part in. Not only is he a fantastic accomplished musician but also such a professional and charming guy. Would not hesitate in recommending Ed for whatever the occasion and will certainly look him out again next time we are in the vicinity.'' Thanks again Ed. Roy and Rachel Wilkes, Bromsgrove.
