I wasn't personally at the event so I am only reporting what my colleagues have advised so it's second hand. Generally they were happy with Ed's performance and he's a skilled pianist. They commented that it was a bit loud (but then they admitted they didn't actually ask for the amp to be turned down). In hindsight they felt they could've positioned Ed better as well. They didn't feel it was really light easy listening jazz which is what I'd advised them they were getting but were not unhappy with the music selection. They also said that Ed sat in his car from about 2:20pm until 3pm and then packed up and left. I understood that Ed would do 1 x 50 minute set and 1 x 10 minute break in each of the 3 hours.

The guests arrived earlier than expected for the event so I started to play earlier and thought it best I play straight through with no break to 220pm as I was told quite early on that they wanted to put a Karaoke machine on to liven things up and also could I play along with the Karoake machine. I’ll always try to be flexible and adapt to suit the needs of the client on the day however I don’t play along with Karoake machines but perhaps I should have kept to the strict timetable.

Ed played at our daughters christening and was absolutely fantastic we could not fault him. Everyone commented on how good he was and continued to talk about him the next day. The playlist was perfect. I would highly recommend.

I was fortunate to hear Ed play at a wedding I attended at the Palm House, Liverpool. On this occasion he was playing as guests arrived, throughout the ceremony and also right through the Reception. We thoroughly enjoyed his music, and his performance really enhanced the day. I would highly recommend him.
