Echoes of Spring

Echoes Of Spring is a piano trio comprised of Sam Davies, Ben Crane, and Ed Adonis. Having met on the London jazz scene in 2021, the three young musicians quickly realised they had a shared passion for the Ahmad Jamal Trio (featuring Israel Crosby and Vernel Fournier). After learning a bunch of Ahmad’s iconic arrangements, and lots of listening together, they decided to go about doing some of their own arrangements of tunes never-played by the Ahmad Jamal Trio, but using their distinctive style. Echos Of Spring has a focus on elegant, swinging jazz. Its virtuosity does not lie in complicated, loud, egotistical playing often associated with jazz music, but in the tastefulness of its groove, which simmers along at low volume with an irresistible sense of swing. It works perfectly as background music, but those listeners who wish to tune in, will notice that the music is groovy, understated, very honest and interesting. This makes it the perfect music for functions, hotels and more! Echos Of Spring have also collaborated with many excellent singers and instrumentalists over the years, and can provide a wide range of varied ensembles to suit individual desires.
