EDit Acoustic are an upbeat, fun, stylish and exciting acoustic duo and can provide both high energy and more laid-back performances to suit your events needs. Emily and Dave are life long friends and together bring laughs and real atmosphere to a musical set that covers a wide variety of rock, pop, indie, dance and folk from the last 30 years plus some classic tunes thrown in too! We also love mash ups and medleys and give a new twist to well known tunes. We are both lead vocalists and can offer unique female/male vocal harmonies and our sets include acoustic guitars, percussion, drums and/or a cajon drum providing a fuller band sound but for the cost of a duo. There is also the option to include a chilled out piano based set for a more laid-back performance. This together with our DJ service in between and after live sets we can cater for all your day's musical needs in one compact package. Whether you are looking for a festival vibe, an intimate gathering or a bouncing dancefloor we will guarantee to really get the party started!

10/10 - everyone loved them! Really really pleased we booked these guys for our wedding. Despite it being so hot outside they really did an amazing job and all our guests have commented on how good they were. Would recommend to everyone! Thank you both :)

Emily and David played at my 40th birthday party last Summer. Communication and planning before the party was very professional. We had so much fun on the night, they played a great range of covers and they really got the party going. They are both great singers and musicians and the atmosphere was fab. I would highly recommended, thank you so much!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love our high energy and fun vibe. We are life long friends and bring chemistry and laughs to all our shows. Audiences also love our male/female vocal harmonies. We are both lead vocalists so these are our speciality! The addition of creative and interesting medleys and mash ups always gets people up and dancing!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at festivals, weddings, parties, music venues, pubs and restaurants all over the country both as EDit Acoustic but also has part of previous covers and originals acts and as solo musicians.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We are both ultimately fans of rock music and love acts like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Alanis Morrissette and Blondie. We however also really enjoy turning pop and dance tunes that would not normally be associated with acoustic guitar based music, into our own versions of the songs. Tunes by Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding and Kygo go down well.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Female and Male lead vocals and harmonies, Guitars, Cajon Drum, Percussion. We also have the option to add a piano for a laid back set to our package, perfect for a more chilled out vibe.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know and we can accommodate it. We want your event to run as smoothly as possible and we know things can change so are happy to be flexible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free! If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes or the end of the evening then we can provide this for an additional fee. We are also happy to create a bespoke playlist for you and your guests so just give us a shout and we will be h

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can you roam around while you perform?

We love to interact with the crowd and while we need to be near our mics as we play our instruments we certainly give a high energy performance! We can however also provide an add on roaming section to our sets which would be performed without the amplification.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat things through and make sure we find what works for your event. We are more than happy to take requests from our full repertoire list if there is a particular song you like.
