Enlli and Lleucu performed a wonderful selection of pieces in our community concert in Rhiwbina, covering a variety of musical genres from different eras. As well as a top class performance, they provided informative introductions to the pieces and offered a personal perspective on their programme.  The audience was made up of older people, some of whom are living with dementia. Enlli and Lleucu responded warmly to their questions and tailored their performance to the informal, friendly nature of the session. We had a great musical morning, thanks to Dwy Music. The attendees of the event were enthralled by their professional performances both as a duet and as soloists. The two pleasant, friendly young ladies introduced their items professionally, describing their contributions to their own successful musical careers. The programme included various pieces by Telemann, Beethoven and Delibes, also traditional Welsh airs and more modern music from West End musicals which included ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’. The audience so enjoyed the musical interludes during the evening that some forgot to eat and were enthralled by the standard and variety the duet had offered them during the sessions. Having had such pleasure listening to these performances, many have since attended other performances that ‘Dwy’ have given. I highly recommend any organisations, charities or individuals who are looking for a professional and entertaining duet to consider ‘Dwy’ to perform at their event.
