Flautist Lucia Viola and pianist Jon Majin have worked together at prestigious hotels: The Landmark, Hilton Park Lane, Grosvenor House Hotel, and have a wealth of experience playing music for events, weddings, parties and special occasions. Often asked to play for embassy social events and corporate networking meetings, they are also in demand for private parties, anniversaries & birthdays. Both music graduates of Goldsmiths' College, University of London, they have played professionally since 2001 in various groups, duos, and solo. Specializing in jazz and latin music, their repertoire also encompasses classical and pop. Jon & Lucia played at our wedding in Shepperton in September and they were absolutely wonderful! We asked them to play a few specific songs (one which required extra time to learn) and it was brilliant. They both went above and beyond our expectations and communication before was easy. Everyone absolutely loved their music and it made our day extra special having them there! Their fee is very reasonable for the amount of hard work and hours they put in. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your special day. THANK YOU!!

Jonathan and Lucia, piano and flute, came to our house in order to entertain for a friends gathering. They were both very well prepared, for the occasion and played beautifully. We had a couple of songs for sing a long as well, which they had prepared from home and Jonathan was singing as well. We can only recommend.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a primarily a piano / flute duo - and our flautist additionally plays some saxophone. We also work with other talented musicians - so if you do require a bigger group then we may be able to arrange this on request.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will always do our best to fit in with your event, and if your timings change please let us know and we will try to accommodate.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We certainly can provide an iPod or similar to play music during breaks if required.

How much time do you need to set up?

As we are a small combo we do not take long - as a guide, between 25 and 45 minutes depending on the location of the room at the venue.

Can you roam around while you perform?

As a piano / flute duo we play from one area of the room.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have a crafted repertoire and plan a set list ourselves in response to the requirements of the occasion. But if you have any requests from our repertoire these are welcome and we can include them in our set. Also, for most events we can learn up to 3 new songs/pieces to play for you, requested in advance.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, we are fully self-contained and provide our own PA, microphones & extension cables etc; we just need access to one electric point.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we can learn up to 3 new songs, given about 2 months notice before your event.
