Hi, I’m Shelley, I’m a working harpist living in London with over 15 years experience. I am classically trained and have played in orchestras all over the world. My specialist interest lies in playing private events and adding a certain magic to the space. I have played at every event imaginable, from beauty pageants to gallery openings to the Jubilee celebrations of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I’d be happy to help advise you based on your personal goals for your event.

Dr Hynes provided music for our event and was excellent to work with. She was able to guide us as to which music would best suit our venue and tailor her repertoire to our needs. Her playing was beautiful and really added to the atmosphere

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Not to worry! Just update me with the schedule as soon as you can. I only book one event per day to ensure I am flexible with timings.

How much time do you need to set up?

20-30 minutes ideally

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Absolutely - I've included all travel costs, including the transport of my harp, in the quotes

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

None at all - my instrument is played acoustically so I don't need any equipment, except for a chair. If it is raining then I will need full cover or to perform indoors as my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.”

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely! As part of my service I provide a full repetoire list which is tailored to your event. Many of my clients enjoy keeping these as mementos of their special day. I also offer recordings of the set for an additional fee.
