Dollar Dogs are a Hertfordshire based wedding and party band. They provide a seamless mix of upbeat indie folk and euphoric 90’s anthems.

As four musicians with thousands of weddings and parties under our belts, we learned that many clients faced a dilemma. "Should we book a folky band that complements the feel of our rustic wedding, or an all out party band who are experts at filling dance floors?" We thought "why not do both?" and Dollar Dogs was born. Working closely with clients we make sure every performance fits their requirements, with an extensive repertoire list, plus optional outfit, instrument and lighting changes. What do your clients love most about your performances?

Audiences often comment on our energy and power as well as the atmosphere we bring to a party. Clients also love our great communication, friendliness & professionalism.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Edinburgh Festival (Pleasants), Cork Jazz Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Manchester MEN Arena, The 100 club London, Hard Rock Cafes London & Edinburgh, London 2012 Olympics,

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, our singer Ritchie will be your singer and only the most extreme circumstances would prevent him performing. We do have a pre-auditioned dep list for if disaster strikes.

Do you have different line-up options?

You can book Ritchie as a soloist and can add musicians from there, for the full Dollar Dogs experience we recommend our 4 piece. We have the option of adding extra musicians; horn players (trumpet, trombone, sax), female vocalist, fiddle or mandolin.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Plans change, often during an event. We’re really flexible on timings within our usual time on site (6pm - 12am). If you require us to arrive earlier or stay later there may be an additional fee.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes this is part of our normal service.

How much time do you need to set up?

Ideally we need to start setting up 90 minutes before our first set. This can be trimmed down if the load in is easy and the acoustics of the venue aren’t problematic.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 6m by 4m space to perform

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can learn a special song if you require and it seems appropriate for our line up/style. But due to time considerations we would need to charge an additional fee if you wanted us to learn more than one.
