About Dolce Dolce Strings is a unique music group which contains a violinist, cellist, pianist and vocalist. All members are professionally trained musicians who are active performers and teachers both in Ireland and abroad. The combination of the instruments and the vocal gives a special ambience to any occasion and provides a warm, welcoming reception and uplifting vibe throughout the performance from start to end. The group is perfect for providing live music for wedding ceremonies, corporate events, receptions, art gallery openings, fundraisers, and church services. We all take great pride in our work and dedication to our craft. But most importantly, we are passionate about music and truly enjoy performing. Anett Majercsik McCaul - Vocalist Anett is a Hungarian Mezzo-Soprano who has been classically trained in Hungary and Ireland. She started studying music at a young age by Kodaly method. Anett began her vocal training at Richter Janos Conservatory in Hungary. She continued her studies in Budapest and become a member of a musical-operette group. After she moved to Ireland she continued her study and took several exams at Royal Irish Music Academy. At present she is preparing for her Diploma with opera singer and vocal tutor Janyce Condon. During her studies she was a member and soloist of several choirs. She took part in several performances and competitions as a choir member(Navan Choral Festival, RTE Mass, International North Wales Choral Festival) and as a solo artist(Feis Ceoil Sligo) in Ireland and abroad. Aongus Mac Amhlaigh - Cellist Aongus began his Cello studies with Mother Dominic in Ballyshannon Co. Donegal. While attending university in Galway his continued interest in the cello brought him to Gerda Marwood in Cork and Adrian Mantu of the RTE ConTempo quartet before moving to Dublin under the tutelage of William Butt of the Royal Irish Academy of Music. While studying cello in the Academy he received a scholarship to study voice with Kathleen Tynan performing as soloist in various concerts and oratorios around Ireland. His cello studies continued with Sokol Koka, formally of La Scala, Milan and more recently in Scotland where he worked with Sistema Scotland. He enjoys performing cello and singing in various different styles from classical to traditional Irish to folk music. Rafal Szydlowski - Violinist Rafal began his music studies at age 6 in Elbag Music School, Poland. He is a classically trained violin player but he also can play on piano and guitar. Throughout his school years he was a member of the local school orchestra and he toured around Europe. Beside his classical studies he also learned other styles of music such as jazz, blues, rock, punk, and metal. Since then he worked with several groups such as Przemyslaw Rudź, Bellow the Line, Robbie Perry, Mutefish. He has other experience with strings ensembles and quartets. Donal Hennessy - Pianist Donal Hennessy, pianist, organist and keyboard player holds a first class honours Masters degree in performance from Maynooth University and has won many Feis Ceoil competitions. The members of Dolce Strings provided the perfect environment for our event. They are talented, professional, friendly and lovely artists. I intend to book them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Anett's Song list

Music
Everyone has different musical tastes, and we would love to perform those special songs that mean the most to you. Playing on traditional instruments doesn’t necessarily mean we can only perform “classical” music. Classically trained, we absolutely delight in the sounds of Pachelbel and Handel, but we also love to perform other styles like pop or jazz. Our purpose is to offer you the versatility to choose ANY song that you want to hear. Our ambition is to make your event as unique as you are.
Please do not hesitate to give me a call or to send an email to discuss any questions you may have with regard to your wedding, reception, charity performance or concert.
