DJ Jon Lowe - Wedding & Event DJ & Host I’m Jon, a professional wedding and event DJ and host with over 20 years’ experience performing across the UK. I specialise in weddings, private events, and corporate functions, with a focus on keeping events running smoothly and creating the right atmosphere at the right time. My approach is straightforward and professional. I plan properly in advance, read the room on the night, and adapt the music as the event unfolds so nothing feels forced. From key moments like first dances and announcements through to a packed dancefloor later in the evening, everything is handled with care and attention to detail. Alongside weddings and private events, I regularly perform at large-scale events including Butlin’s Big Weekends, playing to audiences of all sizes. I also work with established entertainment agencies such as Girls That Mix and Maximum Music Events, which reflects the standard and reliability I bring to every booking. I regularly work alongside live performers such as saxophonists, percussionists, singers, electric violinists, etc, and I’m comfortable integrating DJ sets with live elements where required. I’m known for being organised, approachable, and easy to work with. Clients book me because they want a DJ who’s experienced, calm under pressure, and focused on making sure the event flows properly, not just someone who turns up and plays music. All equipment is modern, fully PAT tested, and covered by PLI.
