Disco Devotion comes as a 6-piece band and offers something for everyone in the family. Their full lineup is 2 x lead female vocalists, keys, guitar, bass, and drums with backing vocals. The band has been bringing disco, pop, funk, and soul favourites to weddings and events across the country in massive style. Disco Devotion has been wowing crowds from their debut performance to HM Forces, with feedback that they were ‘utterly outstanding on the night’ and had a huge hall of hundreds of guests dancing the night away and singing back to them. Disco Devotion goes above and beyond with all of their clients, so you can expect the band to meet and exceed your expectations. The band knows every event is different, and strives to fulfill every briefing to a T for maximum client satisfaction, and will also work the crowd to ensure a packed dance floor throughout the night. Disco Devotion is fronted by our absolutely brilliant vocalists, Kedesha and Joanna, who have complementary voices. Joanna’s sitting perfectly in the pop pocket, and Kedesha’s sitting perfectly in the soul pocket, both of which crossover to give the disco genre everything it needs - with both pop and soul factors shining through. Kedesha brings authentic soul from her time spent singing in church, and Joanna brings her skills from Brit School which she attended with a scholarship from age 13. Joanna is also part of an ABBA tribute who has performed with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall. Both ladies are not only fantastic vocalists but they are fuelled by an incredible amount of positive energy which shines through with every song. They have subtle synchronised dance moves for songs that really pull the whole performance together and add that wow factor. Kedesha and Joanna are supported by David on guitar, Ewan on bass and backing vocals, Pete on keys, and Eduardo on drums and backing vocals. All members of the band are full-time working musicians with exceptional skill and talent. Collectively the band members have all studied at the renowned British Institute for Modern Music, Brit School, Academy of Contemporary Music, and Leeds Metropolitan University. The band is proud to be part of a high-calibre collective of musicians that are some of the most in-demand talent in the UK music industry. So you can book with total peace of mind and know that Disco Devotion will deliver a top-notch performance every time. Kedesha and Joanna lead the way in Disco Devotion as they soar through the band's repertoire, from artists such as ABBA, Anastacia, to Earth Wind & Fire. The band has a wide repertoire specialising in disco, funk, pop, and soul but also covering retro pop, dance, RnB, hip hop, garage, reggae, indie, rock, rock n roll, swing, jazz, country, gospel, musical, festive, and Israeli. Disco Devotion welcomes you to tailor the setlist for your big day. For a standard 2x60mins or 3x40mins performance you can select up to 32 songs from the band’s 650+ song repertoire, and the band will endeavour to accommodate all of your requests, given a month’s notice. For short notice bookings, you are still very welcome to send over your suggestions, and as always, the band will do their utmost to accommodate as many requests as possible. Disco Devotion is also very happy to learn an ‘off the menu’ song request for you, for example, a first dance or your favourite song. Upon booking, you will have a dedicated band manager as your point of contact to ensure the band is 100% on the same page as you well in advance of your event. Having this point of contact means you can count on excellent, fast, friendly, and warm communication at all times. It also means that come the big day every single crease will be ironed out and it will mean smooth sailing for both client and band alike. All in all, the Disco Devotion band members are a very friendly and flexible bunch and take great pride in providing excellent musicianship and creating a really fun atmosphere wherever they go. The band has a big long list of songs spanning different genres and decades for you to pick from and can play complimentary playlist music (which you are welcome to tailor) before, in-between, and after live sets until curfew. The band can be on-site for up to 7 hours, or until midnight as standard. They are happy to accommodate early arrivals before 5pm and late stays after midnight if needed too. The band is also able to provide a band member DJ-ing should you wish to have a live DJ before, between, or after band sets. The band brings a full PA and lighting rig with them wherever they go, so all you need to do is book the band and you can tick the entertainment off your to-do list in one fell swoop because Disco Devotion will have you covered.
