Disco Centric are one of the freshest, innovative Welsh function bands on the circuit. Along with classic disco and funk songs, we play electronic songs (entirely live!), pop, rock and contemporary floor fillers. Displaying excellent musicianship in an energy-filled live performance, the band are sure to have the crowd singing and spinning until the lights come on! Perfect to play at your wedding, corporate, party or any other event you can think of - Disco Centric will ensure the experience and competence as a 5-piece on the live stage is as good as you have ever seen before. For free of charge with your wedding or event booking, we offer a DJ service (before and in between sets), or give you the chance to plug in your iPod if you already have a specific playlist. We also offer a stripped back set in form of a duo, trio or 5-piece “live lounge” style as “Acoustica Centric”. This can be an add-on or the main act. All members are highly trained, full-time professional musicians who enjoy nothing more than entertaining great audiences! Disco Centric are fully insured - you are welcome to view our certification by request. Although the band are based in Cardiff, South Wales we are able to perform all over: Bristol & the South West, The Midlands, North Wales, London & the South East - you name it, we can be there!

These guys are incredible! I recently organised a surprise birthday party for my Mum in Llanerch Vineyard and booked Disco Centric, and I was totally thrilled - they were first class, so up beat and kept us dancing all night! Book these guys they are the best ❤️

We booked Disco Centric to play at our wedding back in July 2020. Unfortunately it was rearranged multiple times because of Covid. Josh was extremely helpful and communicative throughout. We finally managed to tie the knot last Tuesday and I honestly could not have asked for any better. They were just exceptional! Super friendly and extremely talented. The dance floor was full at all times as they played banger after banger :) The sound was incredible and my guests can’t stop talking about it. I would say to anyone looking at these reviews, don’t hesitate, just book! Utterly fantastic, thank you very much.

Disco Centric are the BEST band ever! Do not hesitate to book them as you will not regret it! We knew you they were going to be great, but nothing prepared us for just how awesome they all were! We knew we were in safe hands from day 1! My feet are still on fire from all the dancing and my voice still hasn't come back yet, definitely the sign of an unforgettable night! You definitely sent us into married life with the biggest smiles! You smashed our first dance and it will be something we both remember forever! Forever grateful!

Last night we celebrated our wedding and ourselves and our guests can’t thank Disco Centric enough for making our evening perfect! Considering we booked them 2 years ago and with everything going on with COVID I can’t fault Josh and the band for keeping in touch through out it all. They went out their way to learn my first dance, & performed this piece amazingly! They are really well organised and punctual. A very unique and talented band. Once again, thank you so much! What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our energy and interaction with the crowd always goes down really well - we love having fun with a lively audience. We also have many of our own arrangements of the songs we cover and they have always filled the dance floor!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We always try to ensure full-time members are free to play for every show we book. Occasionally, we have stand-in members to perform if one of us is ill, including the vocalist.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keys, Drums. We also have a 6 piece option that adds Saxophone, 7-piece that adds Trumpet and the full 8-piece with Trombone.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know and we will liaise with you as efficiently as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This is a really popular request and we offer this service with any booking should you need it.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need around 60 mins to set up fully and have a soundcheck as a 5-piece, or 90 mins as an 8-piece.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are happy to accept some choices that you may want, however, we kindly ask you to let us pick the majority so our set runs smoothly.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, everything is included.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We learn one additional song with every booking. For more than one new tune, please contact us for a quote.
