Diego Raspati is an italian guitarist and sound engineer based in London. His passion for music began with the study of classical guitar, but quickly evolved to the electric guitar. Moved by a profound interest for the whole music production process, he studied at the prestigious St.Luis College of Music in Rome an intensive 2 years Diploma course in Sound Engineering and Music Technology. Shortly after completing the course, he won a Scholarship at Tech Music School (Now BIMM) in London, where he studied a Diploma in Popular Music Performance. Diego has written monthly columns about his experience as a musician in London on the revered italian guitar magazine “Chitarre”. He then completed a BMus in Popular Music Performance course at London College of Music where he has been mentored by top UK musicians such as: John Wheatcroft, Simon Carter (Jamiroquai), Femi Temowo (Amy Winehouse) to mention a few. Recently Diego has achieved the certification of Pro Tools post production operator. Coming from a Rock/Metal background, throughout the years he has developed a vast experience in playing a wealth of different musical genres, putting a strong focus on Blues/Funk/Soul music. Recently he has diversified to accompany singers in acoustic settings. Currently Diego is teaching guitar and playing contemporary music along side numerous international artists.

I hired Hits Safari for my birthday drinks in central London and I couldn’t have been more happy with my choice. They were dressed smart and on time. I really liked their repertoire and my friends enjoyed the performance so much that they asked them to play at their wedding! Highly recommend.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

“If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Energy and musicianship is what I hear clients liked more often.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

All sorts of places, from pubs to churches, restaurants.. you name it!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Long story short: the one that pour their souls into their music.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Wembley Stadium for a corporate event.
