We're an experienced duo who have recently moved from Australia to the UK. We've played numerous public and private events including pubs, parties and weddings. and am looking for more local gigs whether at public or private events. We love old soul, blues and pop music from Motown, Stax and others. Guitarist Anthony is a professional guitar teacher so is adept at creating a full sound with his guitar and Looper Pedal. Rachael and Anthony sing beautiful vocal harmonies together while Rachael plays percussion providing grooves on up-tempo numbers. Performance highlights include playing while brides walked down the aisle at their weddings and keeping people entertained at their special events.

We were lucky enough to have Deuawd play at our wedding ceremony on 21/02/15. They were fantastic! It made such a difference to have live music as I walked down the aisle and through the cocktail hour. It really brought a sense of excitement and intimacy to the event. I also couldn’t comment high enough on how easy they were to work with – Anthony was even dealing with last minute requests from me hours before the ceremony! They also agreed to learn any special songs we wanted on the day – and that brought such an amazing personal touch!!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals/Percussion and Guitar/Background Vocals.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we can. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free between our live sets. If you'd like a DJ service using our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional cost.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 30 to 60 minutes prior to performing. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Unfortunately not as we are plugged into our PA.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes we are fine with you choosing preferred songs from our setlist. Depending on your request we can often learn new songs for you too.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3m by 2m space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
