Pianist
London

Denis Patrickson: The Art of the Performance Music has the unique ability to transform a moment into a memory, and for Denis Patrickson, that transformation is his life’s work. As a highly sought-after professional multi-instrumentalist based in London, Denis has carved out a reputation as a virtuoso who effortlessly bridges the gap between technical mastery and emotional connection. Specializing in both piano and saxophone, he offers a level of versatility that is rare in today’s music industry, making him the definitive choice for those who demand excellence for their private events, luxury weddings, and corporate gatherings. A Pedigree of Excellence Denis’s musical journey is defined by real-world, high-pressure experience that sets him apart from the crowd. He has not only graced the stages of London’s most iconic and prestigious venues but has also navigated the intensity of the global touring circuit. His resume includes significant highlights, such as touring with global superstar Ed Sheeran and delivering performances at world-renowned festivals like Glastonbury. These experiences are not merely resume bullet points; they are the crucible in which his performance style was forged. When you book Denis, you are not simply hiring a musician; you are inheriting the professionalism, reliability, and "wow factor" that only a veteran of stadium-sized tours can provide. He brings the same standard of precision and charisma to a wedding ceremony or a private cocktail hour as he does to a festival stage, ensuring that whether the audience is five or five thousand, the performance is nothing short of world-class. Versatility and Atmosphere The duality of his expertise—the soul of the saxophone and the elegance of the piano—allows Denis to curate the perfect soundscape for any stage of an event. He understands that music is a tool for storytelling. He can provide the gentle, sophisticated backdrop of jazz-infused piano standards for a wedding breakfast, shift to a romantic, melodic saxophone solo for a bridal entrance, and then transition into high-energy, contemporary pop sets that get guests onto the dance floor. Beyond his solo performances, Denis is an active collaborator. He is a fixture in the London music scene, constantly performing alongside other elite musicians, which keeps his repertoire fresh, his improvisation sharp, and his sound consistently current. This active concert career means his performance style is never stagnant; he brings the latest trends in production and performance directly to your event. The Client Experience For Denis, the most important aspect of any performance is the client’s vision. He approaches every booking as a partnership. His deep experience with high-end events means he understands the logistics, the pacing, and the subtle nuances required to ensure an event runs flawlessly. He is not just a performer; he is a collaborator who works closely with clients and event planners to ensure the music serves the atmosphere, never overwhelms it. In a market saturated with options, Denis Patrickson offers the rare combination of stadium-proven pedigree and personal, attentive service. He is the musician who turns an ordinary gathering into a legendary event. When the standard for your event is perfection, look no further

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I understand that plans can change, and I’m happy to be flexible. Please just let me know about any schedule updates as far in advance as possible so I can manage my travel and ensure everything is ready for your event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can certainly provide background music (playlist service) before and between my live sets to ensure the atmosphere is seamless. For an added touch, I am also happy to perform live saxophone over the music during these breaks if you’d like to keep the energy high.

How much time do you need to set up?

I typically require one hour of access to the venue prior to the performance start time. This allows me enough time to set up the piano, check my sound levels, and ensure everything is perfectly balanced for the space before your guests arrive

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, absolutely! I am more than happy to perform on an in-house piano if your venue has one available. To ensure the performance sounds its best, I just ask that it has been tuned recently and is in good working order. If you can let me know the make and type (e.g., grand or upright), that would be perfect!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, absolutely! It’s your event, and I want the music to be exactly what you want to hear. You are more than welcome to select your favorite songs from my repertoire list. Feel free to send over a 'must-play' list, and I will be sure to include them in my performance.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

"Yes, absolutely. I am fully self-sufficient and bring my own professional-grade stage piano and sound system to every event. I only require access to a standard power outlet, so you don't need to worry about providing any backline equipment. I have everything covered to ensure the highest sound quality for your performance.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, I am more than happy to learn custom song requests! To ensure I can perform them to the highest standard, I kindly ask that you send these over at least [e.g., 4 weeks] before the event. This gives me enough time to arrange and rehearse them properly so they sound perfect for your big day.
