Deep Down Brass was formed to showcase the ability of 5 brass musicians and a kit drummer to perform any style of music in an entirely unique way. Vibrant, energetic, professional, fun, totally bespoke to your personal tastes in music, we aim to offer anything you could want for your particular event/booking. Deep Down Brass members are the finest of musicians, all professionally trained, all experienced professional performers, and all with a desire to create amazing music for your special occasion. If you have a song or a particular artist covering, contact us and let us know, we can sort it! If you want background music, music to dance to, music to drink to, music to celebrate to, or all of the above, Deep Down Brass are here for you! We can be fully mobile, for a "roaming brass experience" or we can set up however you need. For weddings we can offer classical daytime music as a standard brass quintet and morph into a party band for the reception. Truly a one stop shop for your wedding music needs! We also LOVE Oktoberfest and include traditional oompah alongside our brassy pop hits. Audience engagement is our thing. We include all the drinking games, drinking songs, dancing and even conga lines to get everyone involved and having a brilliant time. Plus...any excuse to wear Lederhosen!

I cannot recommend Deep Down Brass enough. We recently used them for our wedding and through out the whole process they were brilliant. They were really communicative, friendly and accommodating to our requests (even some last minute changes). The performance on the day was brilliant, our guests loved them. The range of songs meant there was something for everyone. I'd highly recommend them (especially their My Chemical Romance mix!). We're now wracking our brains for another reason to book them!

All I can see it 'superb'. We had a bespoke set of songs. Commuication was great. Such a lovely group pf people - made my husband;s birthday really special. Would highly recommend them.

I asked Deep Down Brass to provide musical accompaniment to a surprise engagement. I had very apecific requests, including a couple of songs and singing with the band. The boys did everything I asked and it was a total pleasure to sing with them. They sounded great! I think we all had a good time springing a surprise on my (now) fiancée. She was wowed by the whole performance. I'd totally recommend the band and their willingness to play along (pun intended) with customer's requests. Their communication and feedback was fantastic throughout

Deep Down Brass were just incredible - exactly what we wanted on our special day! They got the guests dancing and were super accommodating of our song requests. We will definitely be going to see them at another show!

We had Deep Down Brass play at our wedding in the evening and it was the best decision we have ever made! They are absolutely incredible performers, had pretty much everyone in the venue singing and dancing and every person after the wedding has commented on how much fun they were! Their repertoire is great it covers so many genres so it’s bound to get everyone dancing, and they really know how to work the crowd to get everyone energised. We particularly loved the brass-led conga line and when the band mingled and danced with people whilst playing! Prior to the wedding talking to Ben to organise was just so easy, he was really responsive and helpful. Would also just like to say that as well as being incredibly talented brass players these guys just seem like great people, and we absolutely loved them! There seriously are not enough good words to say about them, my best advice is to book them now!!!

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We are primarily a 5 piece brass group with drums but also have our fabulous 4 piece roaming group too! This includes trumpet, baritone, sousaphone and drums.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We try to be flexible wherever possible, but ideally we would need 48hrs minimum notice of any time changes prior to a booking.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! Music between our sets can be provided free of charge in most of our bookings.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need approximately 30-45 mins to be performance ready. We would be able to provide background music via our pa whilst we are setting up.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes! We have a wearable drum kit which means both our 6 piece and 4 piece groups can roam.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We aim to provide a mixtape experience based on the info you provide us about your musical tastes. Deep down brass always aim to accommodate requests wherever possible.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Lighting and a larger PA. system is provided can be provided if required.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! We know that your song choices have to be just right. We can include one song arrangement if we don't already play it. We require a minimum 28 days notice.
