Deep Down Brass was formed to showcase the ability of 5 brass musicians and a kit drummer to perform any style of music in an entirely unique way. Vibrant, energetic, professional, fun, totally bespoke to your personal tastes in music, we aim to offer anything you could want for your particular event/booking. Deep Down Brass members are the finest of musicians, all professionally trained, all experienced professional performers, and all with a desire to create special music for your special occasion. If you have a song or a particular artist covering, contact us and let us know, we can sort it! If you want background music, music to dance to, music to drink to, music to celebrate to, or all of the above, Deep Down Brass are here for you! We can be fully mobile, for a "roaming brass experience" or we can set up however you need. For weddings we can offer classical daytime music as a standard brass quintet and morph into a party band for the reception. Truly a one stop shop for your wedding music needs!

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a 5 piece brass group with percussion. We offer just 5 brass minus percussion if space/noise reduction is required

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We try to be flexible wherever possible, but ideally we would need 48hrs minimum notice of any time changes prior to a booking.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! Music between our sets is provided free of charge in most of our bookings.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need approximately 30-45 mins to be performance ready. We would be able to provide background music via our pa whilst we are setting up.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Absolutley! We can provide a short roaming set.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We aim to provide a mixtape experience based on the info you provide us about your musical tastes. Deep down brass always aim to accommodate requests wherever possible.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Lighting and a larger p.a. system is provided at an extra cost which is negotiable.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

This is one of our usp's. For an extra £20, or £50 for 3 songs, we can have almost anything (within reason) arranged and performed for you. We require a minimum 28 days notice.

Amazing performance from Deep Down Brass. Helped to create a magical day for our wedding. Choice of songs was excellent, was enhanced by playing the IPL trumpet when a cricket match broke out and strutting your stuff on the dancefloor whilst playing. Venga boys went down a treat (not word's I thought I'd ever type) to end the night. Thanks so much, Tom

Deep Down Brass were just incredible - exactly what we wanted on our special day! They got the guests dancing and were super accommodating of our song requests. We will definitely be going to see them at another show!

We had Deep Down Brass play at our wedding in the evening and it was the best decision we have ever made! They are absolutely incredible performers, had pretty much everyone in the venue singing and dancing and every person after the wedding has commented on how much fun they were! Their repertoire is great it covers so many genres so it’s bound to get everyone dancing, and they really know how to work the crowd to get everyone energised. We particularly loved the brass-led conga line and when the band mingled and danced with people whilst playing! Prior to the wedding talking to Ben to organise was just so easy, he was really responsive and helpful. Would also just like to say that as well as being incredibly talented brass players these guys just seem like great people, and we absolutely loved them! There seriously are not enough good words to say about them, my best advice is to book them now!!!
