Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients and audiences often say that I have a beautiful voice and an amazing range of songs across different genres and that I really get people up dancing and enjoying themselves.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at many different venues of all sizes, from intimate concerts and private house parties, to full size weddings and corporate or charity events with several hundred guests. Examples include The Parsonage Hotel at Dunmore, the Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline and the Malmaison Hotel in Dundee.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I love a wide variety of music and artists across all eras and genres - country, rock, pop, jazz, swing, R&B, blues, folk. Some of my favourite artists include Adele, Patsy Cline, Shania Twain, KT Tunstall, Johnny Cash, Annie Lennox, Passenger, KC Musgraves, Elton John, The Beatles, The Carpenters, The Police, Lewis Capaldi, Ella Fitzgerald …..

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I recently performed to 200+ guests at The Parsonage Hotel at Dunmore which is regularly voted as the most romantic wedding venue in Scotland. Also, I performed at the Northern Nashville Country Music Club as the lead singer of The Duke Boys, a well established Scottish country band who have toured Europe playing to audience of 20,000+

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance start time. As soon as the PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

The set list(s) will be drawn up to fit your particular event while taking account of what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. I'm definitely happy to chat through our suggested setlist and adapt it as necessary to reflect your preferences and make sure it will work for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes absolutely. I have a top-end twin-tower Bose PA system that will work well not only for small intimate venues but also for large venues up to around 300 guests, and this is included within my prices.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

f a song isn't included in our song list, we may well already know it. If there is a song (or even a couple of songs) that you would like us to learn we are always happy to do this for you and there will generally be no charge for this as part of a full event.

I booked Debbie for my 60th birthday at Stonehaven golf club. She was excellent from start to finish, played a wide range of songs and even went to the trouble to learn 3 of my favourite songs. Thanks to Debbie we had a fantastic afternoon as did our friends and family. We would highly recommend Debbie and wouldn't hesitate in booking Debbie for any future events. Thanks Debbie for making my 60th certainly memorable.

Thanks Allison so much for your review and for choosing me to sing at your party as a surprise for Dave! It was such fun to be able to sing outside in the open air in your lovely garden and to see all your family and friends enjoying the music and up dancing on your special day.

Charity Evening – Blairmore Farm near Crieff - 2023 The national charity “Make 2nds Count” booked Debbie for entertainment on the final nights of our two Scottish retreats for secondary breast cancer patients at Blairmore Farm in the heart of the Perthshire Countryside. Debbie was brilliant! The set up was seamless and the choice of music was fabulous. All eras and tastes were covered. We had lots of comments from our guests both weeks about how great Debbie was and we won't hesitate to book Debbie again when we return next year. It was clear that our charity and cause was close to Debbie's heart so thank you for helping us make our retreats so special. Claire O'Donnell

Thanks so much for your brilliant performance yesterday at our fundraising event in Dudhope Bowling Club. Everyone had a great time and commented on how good your voice was as well as the great variety of songs you included in your set list. You have a beautiful voice, and the sound quality was fantastic even in our small venue. You are great to deal with and everything went to plan. I couldn't have asked for anything more from you! I would definitely recommend you to family and friends and invite you to sing at any future event!  Its great that you are virtually on our doorstep too!“ Jennifer Sheehan, Dundee
