David we brought on board for our celebration evening at Birmingham City Mission which was held at St Martin's church in Birmingham on Tuesday 27th September.... David is incredibly gifted musician on the evening he blessed us all with his beautiful saxophone playing .... David was very professional in his approach to the event and during the whole evening It really was a real privilege having David play for the celebration and would ask him to be involved in a heart beat for future events. Again a huge thank you David

What do your clients love most about your performances?

If you were to meet all of the persons that have booked me in the past, I guarantee and have no doubt that they would highly recommend me. This is not me ' blowing my own trumpet' but what my reviews say. I'm a saxophonist that plays with a lot of feeling and passion. I am professional not only in my conduct but my performances also.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

My long and varied playing career has brought me to many plush and well to do places. From stately homes to top notch hotels. I have done street entertaining (busking), garden parties, funerals, birthdays, baby showers, christening parties, wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions, Food festivals, a Jazz festival and an Independance Anniversary Ball.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As a saxophonist I have been influenced by the great jazz players from back in the day. Charlie Parker, Dexter Gordon, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong and Sonny Rollins. Modern saxophonists that I listen to are Kirk Whalum and Kenny G

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

As mentioned above I've done many weddings and birthday gigs but the gig that has topped these all was the Independance Anniversary Ball. The reason why I have put this at the top is because of those that attended. The VIP's and dignatories that represent that country were all there and that made it all the more important and special

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. I can either play music selected from my playlist or better still, if you can provide a Spotify playlist I can play that. Whatever works best for you

How much time do you need to set up?

I look to setup 45mins to 30mins before my performance

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play and portable amp. When playing with your DJ I also bring a wireless microphone

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc
