I started to play bagpipes at the age of eight, at the age of 16 I joined the Army as a soldier and Regimental Piper. I re-enlisted September 2017 in the 1st Bn Scots Guards and carried out numerous public playing jobs including lone piper and playing for Her Majesty The Queen. 2017 also saw me win the Amateur Solo Piping Title . 2018 I attended the Army School of Highland Bagpipes first completing my class one and then doing a 7 month course to qualify as a Pipe Major (Army Qualification) from this I also received an HND in Music which allows me to Tutor the GHB in schools.

Absolutely top notch. My wife and I wanted a piper at our wedding and David was incredible for the whole thing. The plans changed due to the weather and David was extremely accommodating. Simply stunning playing ability (no doubts in that department) Extremely well turned out/presented Extremely personable and friendly Couldn’t recommend David enough.

David was fantastic a great experience for my father's funeral. A real gentleman and an honour to meet him. He was professional throughout, had great communication with quick responses, and adapted to our change of venue with no issues. This was a great experience booking via Encore and will definitely keep David's contact details for any future bookings. Can't thank him enough for making this sad day a special one. In addition, New Zealand & Scotland were streaming in on the service and they all said how well he played and was so professional. Would highly recommend him.
